Isn’t homemade always better? Yes! I do not like the store-bought packets of eggnog. We all know that eggnog is sold in stores countrywide throughout the holidays.
It is also a great option to compromise when you are already spending countless hours preparing holiday meals.
I have made this recipe very simple to follow; you can even ask the kids to make it the morning and let it chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before serving to your guest.
Cooked Keto Eggnog Recipe:
This creamy and rich and eggnog that is a substitute for traditional eggnog because the eggs are cooked. When served chilled and topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a scattering of cinnamon and nutmeg,

There are four ways to make this Keto Eggnog Recipe:
- Alcohol-Free Eggnog – You can use rum extract for taste and add cashew milk or almond milk

Step 1- Put the egg yolks into a bowl and add the granulated Erythritol and beat until frothy and creamy. Keep it aside.
Step 2- Now pour the almond milk into a saucepan. Add the nutmeg, cinnamon, and cream. And take to a boil over high heat. After foam starts to form, take off the heat.
Step 3- While the milk is hot, use a spoon to slowly temper the cream mixture and warm almond milk into the erythritol mixture and egg yolk. Keep beating regularly, or the dough will clot.
Step 4- Once you have added half of the cream and almond mixture, bring back everything into the pot with the remaining cream and almond and, beat forcefully and cook until it reaches 70 C/ 160 degrees F (this may hardly take 6-8 minutes)
Step 5- Now remove from the heat and transfer into a standard mixing bowl and add the dark rum and vanilla extract
Step 6- Place it in the refrigerator to cool. Up to 3 days you can store it in the fridge.
