Ingredients to make this quick Keto Breakfast Sandwich

To make this Low Carb Breakfast Sandwich, all you need are eight ingredients, and it is so easy to make, delicious and versatile! It’s really can be made with any cheese and proteins.

For the bread:

✅Egg large 1

✅Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon

✅Salted butter 1 tablespoon

✅Coconut flour 1 tablespoon

For the sandwich:

✅Egg large 1

✅Deli ham 1 slice

✅Cheese 1 slice (I recommend sharp cheddar)

✅Olive oil spray

Notes: To make bread you can use almond flour if you like almond flavour.

Yes, the sausage is keto-friendly only. Most of the key ingredients found in sausages like ground meats such as pork, chicken, turkey, beef, and a handful of other elements added for quality and flavour.

To make the Keto Breakfast Sandwich bread:

✅Egg: Always, I will use large eggs in all my recipes.

✅Baking powder: Verify whether it’s gluten-free or not. And make sure it should be fresh.

✅Butter: Go ahead and use unsalted butter and add a pinch of salt. But here I used salted butter.

✅Coconut flour: An excellent flour substitute. Every extra gram of powder makes a little difference in taste. So, try to measure it by weight accurately and not by volume.

As I mentioned earlier, you can use almond flour if you like almond flavour.

Low Carb Breakfast Sandwich bread

To make the Keto Breakfast sandwich:

✅Egg: Always, I will use large eggs in all my recipes.

✅Deli ham slice: The best thing in this recipe is a thick slice, it works well.

✅Cheese Slice: Sharp cheddar I recommend to use.

✅Olive oil spray: I always like to cook with this tasty oil, but instead of olive oil, you can use avocado oil if you would like to use an oil with a higher smoke point.

What is Deli Ham?

Deli ham is also known as Lunch meats. Deli meat is cured meats or precooked that are sliced and served hot or cold. They are served on a tray or in sandwiches.

They are prepared from pieces or chunks of meat and attached to create a single piece.

How to make a low carb Keto breakfast sandwich?

Perfect Keto Breakfast

This is so simple and easy to make! Here are the necessary steps to know the recipe detailed instructions.

Step 1– Make the keto bread, melt the butter first (about 30 seconds), and combine in the balance bread ingredients (use a fork to mix one egg, coconut flour one tablespoon, and baking powder 1/4 teaspoon) and bake it for 90 seconds.

After that, let the bread cool slightly, then slice it into two pieces carefully.

Step 2– Spill the oil in a nonstick skillet, let it heat in over medium heat, then use it for cooking the egg and toasting the bread slices until it becomes browning on each side.

(if you need perfect round shape, use a greased round egg mold)

Step 3- Bring altogether in the one plate, and take a slice of bread, topped with cheese, fried egg, a slice of ham and then put the second slice of bread on the top and serve it immediately.

That’s all Perfect Keto Breakfast is ready.

 

Notes: I prepare this 90-second keto bread in a little bigger bowl. Also, ensure the large enough bread slices to put up the filling and thinner bread slices.

Meanwhile, the bread is a bit spongy and eggy, you can go ahead with the extra step of toasting within a greased skillet. It brings a difference! However, on mainly lazy mornings,

I recommend going with this keto breakfast sandwich without toasting the bread, and it is delicious anyway.

If you like to go a little wild you could also include some sliced tomato, avocado and onion. but I would spread some mayo on my toasted bread and use a different kind of cheese.

To appropriately grease your skillet, rub a little amount of oil directly onto the skillet before putting it on the heat Depending on the size of the pan, one tablespoon or so should do.

Can you make this recipe ahead?

Yes, it is possible to make this keto breakfast sandwich frozen the before one night, wrap it, refrigerate it, and then heat the next morning.

But it’s not recommendable, and it may not be suitable as when made fresh. That’s why I mostly prepare it on weekends when I have more time in the morning.
